In 2016 GoodLands made history as the first organization to visualize a major global religion and its people across the entire surface of the Earth. We were also the first organization to use data to visualize the global Catholic Church. Our work is born out of a calling to better understand how people relate to the world through the art and science of map making and connect this with story telling to promote global action for good, exploration, and communication.
